A logo is often the first and most immediate, singular visual statement of a company’s brand. A good logo communicates who a company is: their name, their personality, their culture, their values, their mission and sometimes, even more specifically, what they do. We believe the best logos should be appropriate, memorably distinctive, and able to stand the test of time. They should work as well small as they do large, on a ballpoint pen as easily and interestingly as 4 feet tall on the side of a building. Ideally, a logo never lives in isolation; it works as part of a larger brand system, which might be a series of packages or simply on a letterhead or business card.
