Knob Creek

Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey

One of Jim Beam’s brands of small batch bourbons, Knob Creek was designed to feel like it came from Jim’s private, boot-legged stock and was created and hand-labeled by Jim himself. We tried to imagine that this is the “stuff” that Jim would only give to his closest friends. Restoring bourbon to the standard of pre-Prohibition honest bourbon. Knob Creek is named after the small stream that runs through Abraham Lincoln’s property in Kentucky, honest Abe, honest bourbon. The graphics appear as if they are imprinted on old Knob Creek News newspapers; there’s a story about the creek flooding and the reverse side of the label is a grocery ad for chicken fryers. This was designed and produced while at Duffy Design Group.
