Slice, dice and chop! Epicurean makes beautiful and functional kitchen tools. The company is especially well-known for its cutting boards, a favorite among gourmet cooks who shop at high-end culinary shops. To expand its customer base, Epicurean wanted to develop a series of cutting boards that would appeal to young adults and other beginning cooks.

Epicurean asked WDW to explore pattern designs that could be embedded into the layers of the board. We explored a diverse range of designs and colorways. As we developed each direction, we tried to imagine the specific cook who would use the board, and the specific kitchen where it would reside. Several designs were selected for production, helping pave the way for Epicurean to sell at Crate and Barrel.
