Elvis Swift Illustration PromoElvis creates his art on random scraps of paper, bits and pieces of things from everyday life-all of which add to the beauty of the work. This is the second portfolio piece of his work (created in 2005) which is essentially a documentation of his work - it is brighter and more colorful than the first. We wanted to capture this randomness and personal attention and recreate it on a larger scale: a quantity of 4000. We achieved it by letterpress printing on a variety of materials-everything from bingo pages to vintage wallpaper, the pages of old romance novels to naturally aged envelopes. No two pieces are alike; everyone who receives one of these promos is getting their own unique mini Elvis portfolio. |
