U of M Undergrad PosterThis poster for the University of Minnesota's Department of Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature is an effort to engage and challenge high school students to consider one of the department's three different tracks of study. It's not intended to appeal to all students; the department wants to attract only those students who are interested in serious discourse about culture and media. The tear-off strips make it easy for students to take away the vital information and the large area of flat color stands out on a crowded bulletin board. The department head was thrilled to report that many of the posters have been stolen-not the usual reaction to student theft but in this case a welcome result. |
