Joanie Bernstein's PostcardsDan Picasso gave us a single sticker, wanting to send it to designers and art directors as a promotion. Knowing Dan (he's sort of a "gear-head") we decided to source a fast food hot dog (as in "hot-doggin") bag and use it as an envelope. Continuing with the car theme we imprinted carborator parts on it. Eric Hanson's piece plays off the naive yet sophisticated style of his illustrations. We created a piece that felt as if it was put together by a young child - various sized pages, simply stapled in a cover. The cover material is vintage flocked wallpaper we found in a warehouse - next to the trash bin. The small portfolio of work is mailed in a flat retail bag. Each of these promotions fits within the brand sensibilty of their artist's rep, Joanie Bernstein. |
