Inspiration Builder's IntroductionThe Inspiration books were given to a select group of builder's to educate and inspire them to participate in this new concept for a neighborhood. Inspiration is a neighborhood development with a small town feel and an admirable mission: to restore 245 acres of land to its native prairie condition and build homes that are sensitive to the environment on a small footprint. This could have been a difficult sell since it required good planning for home design and layout. Inspiration ultimately wanted to select five of the best builders suited for this new neighborhood. The re-appropriated gardening and environmental books acted as a take-away power point presentation with more attention to detail and tactile experience. We used vintage books and layered images of nature, homes and factual information. |
