Citizen PicturesThe stationery system for Citizen Pictures is a reflection of the film company’s attention to detail. The work they produce is often highly textural and layered–their goal was to translate that degree of detail onto paper. Of course with the name “Citizen” we went with the idea of government issued documents, things are numbered, catagorized, initialed and stamped. The client requested a very tactile and detailed system, which involves a bit of hand labor (our apologies to the office support staff). The texture is achieved with layered letterpress printing, hand embossing, rubber stamps, labels, hole punching and hand writing, all adding a very personal degree of attention to detail. |
