Target Valentine’s Day
The Language of Love
Target asked us to define Valentine’s Day: color palette, typefonts, patterns and graphics and application ideas. The graphics were then compiled into a style guide booklet and companion CDs that were used by Target buyers and vendors, in-house designers, as well as outside design resources, to create everything from t-shirts and bath products to signage and fabrics. The graphics go beyond sticky sweet sentiments and were used to create a strong, singular look for the holiday throughout the store and the weekly circular, across all departments, from home accessories and stationery to men, women and kids.
